George Walsh-Waring joined Westmount Real Estate in 2021. He has over 30 years’ experience in real estate investment and development having held senior positions in leading Investment management and development companies. Prior to Westmount George was a principal of MARK (previously Meyer Bergman) for 15 years responsible for the UK investment strategy and the redevelopment portfolio across Europe which exceeded £2bn of assets. As a real estate investment manager MARK focused on mixed use urban place making. During his time the company invested in high quality assets as diverse as Borough Market, restaurant and office, Dublin, offices and retail, and establishing a £250m residential development business for third party investors.
Prior to MARK George worked for MAB Group BV heading up the London office and involved in building the business and creating opportunities with a focus on central London. During his time, he worked on a portfolio of projects valued at £250m in Edinburgh, the City of London and the South Bank. George qualified to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors from Reading University.
